Where can I get copies of the schedule?
Pick up a hard copy of the schedule from the ministers’ area outside the sacristy or email [email protected] and ask for a schedule to be emailed to you.
What should I do when I arrive to serve at a Mass?
Please arrive 30 minutes before Mass. Go to the sacristy and check your name off the posted schedule to indicate your attendance. Let the coordinator know you’re there and follow his or her instructions about what to do next.
What if I can’t serve on a day I’m scheduled to serve?
If you can’t serve as scheduled, please try to find a sub. A Contact List is attached to the schedule, including names of ministers who are not on the schedule but who are potentially available to sub. Cross your name off the schedule posted outside the East Room. Contact the Coordinator of the Mass you’ll be missing to let them know you can’t serve. Let them know if you’ve found a sub. If a last-minute issue keeps you from your scheduled ministry, contact the Coordinator or call the parish front desk at (212) 627-2100 and let them know of your absence.
What about Holy Days?
There will be minister sign-up sheets for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Christmas Eve/Day, the weekend after Christmas, New Year’s Eve/Day, Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday. We’ll let you know when we post the sign-up sheets.
